However, we have noticed that VELFAC windows are now a more common request and we are pleased to advise that we are able to assist you with this product. Whilst the process for VELFAC is not always quick due to our suppliers having to contact VELFAC direct, we are able to repair them.
We can also help with condensation issues The double glazing industry has come on leaps and bounds over the years and there are things one can do to help. Good ventilation is always good but still doesn’t eliminate the problem. The best advice we can offer is to change your existing glass sealed units with A Rated ones; Low E, K glass, argon gas filled and thermospacers. Please enquire for more detailed information on how this phenomenon occurs and how the upgraded units help stop the cold transferring across to the inner pane thus causing condensation.
With more complex jobs like that of tilt & turn windows, we can replace the faulty part ensuring the window can still be used. However, if the required mechanisms are no longer manufactured and we are unable to modify the newer generation part we can carry out a full regear, thus still making it cheaper than getting a whole new window.
Whatever the problem, we can either repair the existing or supply and fit new mechanisms:
